This tour offers you a day hike to Mount Kilimanjaro via Marangu. In this tour you will have an opportunity to view Mount Kilimanjaro from afar. You will also get an opportunity to hike and learn about history, culture and tradition of Chagga people.

Day by Day

Day 1

Breakfast, pick up from Arusha and drive to Kilimanjaro National gate. The journey passes through the village of Marangu, which is located on here lower slopes of the Mountain Kilimanjaro, from here you will have amazing view of the Mountain because it quite high and you will also visit Marangu Kilimanjaro climbing gate where people start to climb from there.

On a clear day, Kibo will glimmer in the distance, showing off her majestic glacier in the morning sun. Once you are done taking pictures and enjoying the views. Later on, you descend slowly back to Marangu gate for 2.5 hours. An Kojuu safaris Vehicle will be waiting to pick you up and return to your hotel in Arusha arriving at 20h00.
