Tour Overview

The tour is a life-changing and exclusive Safari opportunity. It is a 3-day program where you learn about Maasai Culture, dance with them, and hunt with Hadzabe. It gives you the chance to learn ways of living that offer unprecedented experience. The tour lets you stay in two outstanding accommodations in the northern Tanzania circuit—the tour ends in Arusha. Overall, it is an extraordinary experience that blows away your mind.

Day by Day

Day 1: Arusha – Mto wa Mbu and Maasai Village Visit

After breakfast, the tour guide will onboard you to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour. Mto wa Mbu is a small town that lies at the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. Mto wa Mbu is famous for its rice production, red bananas, and agricultural hub. You will spend half a day with a local guide there and visit the banana plantation. Later, you will join the local woman who will cook a local lunch for you. You will have the opportunity to taste the lunch. Then, you will visit the Masai Village to learn about the Maasai culture and sing and dance with the Masai Tribe. In the Late afternoon, along with our driver, you will visit the African Gallery and see if there is any picture that you would like. You will also check out local shops to buy souvenirs. Finally, as the evening finishes, you will head to your at lodge at Lake Eyasi for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Accommodation: Overnight at Lake Eyasi Lodge on full board basis

Day 2: Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe and Datoga

Lake Eyasi is a Salt Lake located in the Great Rift Valley, Southwest of the crater. The lake always experiences dramatic changes seasonally depending on the rains. If there is short rain, sometimes you can see the lake has almost disappeared. You will wake up early to hunt with Hadzabe, and later, after the Hunting, you will visit another tribe: the colorful Datoga people. This tour exposes you to a local blacksmith practicing his craft, fashioning pots, and weapons from scrap metals. After that, the driver will take you to Mto wa Mbu for relaxation at the lodge, which has a spectacular view of Lake Manyara.

Day 3: Departure Day

Breakfast, relax by the pool area, swimming. In the afternoon, you will get your delicious. Then, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
