Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Breakfast, pick up from the Hotel by Kojuu Safari guide, and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire is one of Africa’s little-known gems. We recommend this itinerary to all lovers of wilderness and solitude. Its name originates from the Tarangire River, which crosses through the park and is the sole water source during the dry season. Tarangire’s landscape is incredibly diverse, with a mix not found anywhere else on the northern safari circuit. It comprises ancient baobab trees, which the Maasai believe are the first tree in creation, and giant termite mounds. The dry season sees the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, while the wet season brings dense bush and luscious high grasses. Later in the evening you will drive to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Overnight at Nimali Tarangire on All -inclusive basis

Day 3: Full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, safari briefing then your driver guide will pick you up and drive to Lake Manyara for full day game drive. Lake Manyara is now more of a forest park compare to the years back but it has not lost its appeal and it still offers a unique experience to visitors. Even though it has the least number of mammals in all Northern circuit parks, Lake Manyara makes up for it in its unique wilderness which entails of scenic landscapes such as such as Rift valley, dense woodlands and stunning mountain side.

This park is a great starting point for an adventure. It lies in Northern circuit of Tanzania and it is 130km from Arusha and approximately 2 hours’ drive. The 60% of this park is covered by the lake which is 330sq km and the other 40 % 0r 132sq km is a forest harboring over 100 species of birds and array of mammals such as elephant, blue monkeys, giraffe and Zebra and leopard and lions to name a few.

Lake Manyara National Park centers around its eponymous alkaline lake, a key habitat for hundreds of bird species. In month of November and April, thousands of greater and lesser pink flamingos gather on its shore, along with pick-backed pelicans yellow-billed storks, grey herons and pods of hippos

As afternoon begins to end you will make your way toward your accommodation which is located at Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Overnight at Ngorongoro Oldeani Lodge on All-inclusive basis

Day 4: Lake Manyara – Ndutu Area

After breakfast, drive to Ndutu area for game drive. Ndutu area has divided into two side: Ngorongoro side and South side of Serengeti. While the route for great migration has remain the same for last 5 years, the exact time of the journey depending on seasonal rainfall, so it is still remained unpredictable.

Ndutu area is where the calving season takes place which is from January to March, where the herds are usually towards Ngorongoro searching for green pasture but not inside the crater. This plain is a perfect place for wildebeest to give birth due to it abundance of nourishment which is good for the new born baby. In this journey wildebeest are not alone but accompanied by Zebra and gazelle.

As afternoon begins to end you will make your way towards your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Overnight at Lake Masek Tented Camp on All-inclusive basis

Day 5: Game drive Ndutu Area

Breakfast, you driver guide will pick you up and drive to the park for another full game drive tracking the migration. What so special about this area is the sweet grasses which are not just tasty but perfect for the young wildebeest. The area has the grass which is nutritious because of the Volcanic that happened years ago. The ash spewed out by these erupting volcanoes was blown over the plains of Ndutu area and settled here which help in fertilize and nourish the soil, making the grass that grow here simply enticing to mother wildebeest and their babies. The guide will explain this and much more while taking one step at the time exploring this park.

Later in the evening you will make your way toward your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Overnight at Lake Masek Tented Camp on All-inclusive basis

Day 6: Ndutu Area – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is extremely large and wild game park ever. It is every traveler desire to see, a nearly 15000 sq km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by nomadic Maasai who are found here. You mind will be boggling by the quantity and wildlife inside Serengeti. It is a home of big five “Lion, Leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo and Black Rhino”. If is also famous with annual migration and beautiful landscapes.

Serengeti is a treat to visit not just for animals but also for its vast and varied species. The park encompasses grasslands, wetlands, woodlands and riverine forest and more. Day 7: Full Serengeti National Park

The sound of Africa arouses you from a sleep and you will freshen up and go the main area for breakfast. After breakfast you driver guide will pick you up and drive to the park for full day game drive.

If you love animals then Serengeti is a good place to be. In here you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba and Scars, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”. There are around 3000 Lions live in Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot not just because of their numbers but also because they like to loll about for hours each day under the trees. In fact, Lion can long around about 20 hours a day. The Serengeti also has bush elephant, cape buffaloes, birds like Kori bustard, Fischer’s and many others.

Bottom line is Serengeti is an endless playground, from the big five, the big cats, hot air balloon to river crossing in Mara River and Grumeti – there is no shortage of raw adventures and adrenaline – pumping moments.

As afternoon begins to end you will make your way toward your lodge which has a spectacular view and it is located inside the park for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater was one of the World Heritage sites in 1979 and is one of the only places on earth where humankind and wild animals mingle in harmony. The Ngorongoro Crater is famous for Africa’s best game viewing, with an ever-present abundance of wildlife due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor.

Upon arrival at the Crater’s rim, you descend 610 meters into the Crater, where your Safari excursion truly begins. You can easily spot the endangered black rhinos, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, elands, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, and giant tusked elephants. The Crater also has the largest known population of lions, and you will spot leopards, cheetahs, and scavengers — hyenas, jackals, and rare wild dogs.

Over five hundred species of birds have been recorded within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, including white pelicans and flamingos. Ascending from the crater floor, you will drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
